My proposal is that if there can be some blank pages inserted in the back of Green Gryphon Inn to reach the cut-off, and thus allow a hardback printing, why not do that? I'm sure there are more than enough potential buyers
Yes, here's another potential buyer.
Adding additional pages increases the cost. And for a hardback, the percentage of cost for the cover is
substantially more than for a perfect-bound/paperback, so there might be some price shock. Also, with a spine that small, there is some question whether the printer can hit the spine text properly; it is too narrow for the perfect-bound and iffy for hardbound.
