Vehicle with no movement
« on: January 25, 2011, 04:08:19 PM »
1) I was looking last night at the SM:P VM and was going to make a gravic craft that had no speed, ie it was just to ignore gravity or float a bit off the ground. But if I put a zero into the equations many of them go to zero. Which IMHO is a big problem. Does anyone have an idea on what to do?
2) Also should the weight of the gravic system drop because it is just made to sit there and not move? I was thinking of cutting the weight in 1/2 to represent this effect. Thoughts?

Thanks

I havn't got the book in front of me at the moment but could the problem be that the grav system is actually negating weight not mass in the equations, since the two are different things?
