Rolemaster chat? / IRC chat?

I'm wondering if the chat app is just a front end for IRC?  If so, what's the server information...?

Also, if there are IRC channels where people hang out, that info would be useful too...

The ICE Chat is not IRC, it is a stand-alone chat application.

Thank you for the clarification... I've had the app open (and it does look nice, by the way), but I haven't seen anyone actually online...

Should I wait until the witching hour?   When do Rolemaster fans come out?  :)

It varies. It is there for those who want to use it. At least one GM runs their games on it every week.
