Hello,

Has anyone here worked up a Fallout conversion to SM2 ? I'd love to see it especially sice Fallout 3 is coming out or is out.I love the fall out world & love to run or play in it.

Fallout "conversion" ?
I only know about the computer game.

Are there some RPG guide books out ?

If not, we need no conversion, we need campaign guides.

I encountered the first computer game and thought of a campaign myself, but to get the right feeling I would have to play it  ::)

IMO I think you could use the Sm2 rules  for Fallout. But IMO it would help a lot if you had the fan play books for the maps and other stuff in the game.

A side note is that Cloven Fruit Games is using the HARP system for there post apocalyptic setting. You may want to check out what they are doing. I think the release is planed for early next year but I could  be wrong.

If you do some conversions please post them on the ICE Forum or give us a lint to your site as I think many people would like to see what you have done. Also IMO since Fallout3 is here many people will be looking for info and rule sets to help them out.

The guy who owned the shop my old sunday group played at mentioned having a copy of a homebrewed Fallout RPG based on the rules from the game. But I never got a copy from him as I had hoped. I was just wondered if someone had homebrewed something in the past for SM2.

there's two homebrewed rules sets and they're out on the net.  and the first set is actually from the manual on the cd for Fallout 2.  the system in the game is a rollunder percentile type and the calculations are right there on the character stats screen. :)

The second set is d20 system based, so you could use the d20 conversion rules.  fallout has mostly modern firearms so firearms companion and blackops would probably be usefull as well.

hope that helps,

Thanx it does.My only complaint concerning converting it is the lack of official FO PG to compile maps in such from.
