Title: Teleporting into a moving target
Post by: Tywyll on March 25, 2017, 08:57:02 AM
Say you live on a ship and are extremely familiar with it.

Then say it moves.

Will your teleportation count as familiar (you intimately know you ship) or will be it be unfamiliar since its position in Space is different?

I would rule that teleport would work as the target could be visualised.

When I run, the room would be the target, so no matter where the ship goes, you can teleport to it.

We even had an enterprising magician give the scout a rug with a very memorable pattern. The scout would sneak into an area, and then unroll the rug on the ground/floor. When the signal was given, the magician would teleport the team onto the rug.

Great way to get those with no sneak skills or in heavy armor to the target area.
