Title: Elves and Sleeping?
Post by: Malleable on August 27, 2016, 12:28:40 PM
So from the main RMFRG book, and probably the RM2 books, elves only require 2 hours of sleep or meditation a night, and half-elves only require 4 hours of sleep or meditation a night.

Reading Terry's Loremaster Legacy book the two main characters constantly complain about being tired and sleep in late.

In my campaign, the elves and half-elves play by the 2/4 hour rule.

Are Shadow World elves different from the main books in this regard?

Thanks,
Mal

You make a good point. 2/4 is a guideline. I would suggest that in Loremaster Legacy,  Kalen and Jad, brought up in a mortal-dominated home environment, became acclimated to sleeping more as they grew up. They could eventually adapt to sleeping less.

Terry.  Thanks very much for your speedy reply!

My campaign is running right now so we are discussing your answer.

Maybe they were sleeping too much and didn't realize it and this is why they were tired. ;)
(You know when you sleep TOO long are are mushy headed all day).

Or have too long a nap.
