Sleep deprivation
« on: September 25, 2023, 01:27:31 PM »
I was reading about starvation and dehydration on the old Rolemaster Companion V and I noted that I have never found satisfactory rules about sleep deprivation. I only found a note about sleep deprivation on Rolemaster: Table 10-12 of ChLaw that modifies exhaustion expenditure due to lack of sleep.
I find this modification insufficient. I would expect increasing penalties to all actions. Moreover, we rarely take note of exhaustion points to simplify things. We only use this rule when a player is running.
Before I come with a house rule, am I missing something?

RMU might be helpful: it changes the way exhaustion works, using fatigue/endurance checks and mounting penalties. It might be worth a look.

Thanks, I would like to understand how the mounting penalties work, but I do not have RMU.
