I?ve now shipped all preorders for Echoes of Heaven. Now, officially, no orders are ?pre? any longer. They should all just ship the next business day. It might take a day or two before I update the store, but if you do a preorder in the meantime, it?s not a preorder, its a real order. :)
-
Well, there's an order that I know about that hasn't come in yet because it was paid with an e-check, but that will just come in as a normal order.
-
Cool!
I don't actually need it for christmas but the soooner the better :)
Now I just hope the customs office is not taking too long for one book.

Dont they have to read it first?
Or do they automaticly get a PDF of the book from the US Library of Congress and run a scan of it.
Just kidding, I hope you enjoy them as much as I have mine.

So you got yours already?
Well for 25 bugs I feel I can expect the shipping not to take forever :)
Oh and Defendi I don't blame you for the high shipping costs in case my above remark comes over as offensive :)

Just got my notification. Hopefully it didn't get lost or held up in the recent ice storms...
-
Interesting.

Interesting.

You won't get a notification, Raf, I wasn't able to buy your postage on Stamps.com. They don't sell international postage slower than priority (so I just took it into the post office with the other internationals). If I HAD been able to use stamps.com, you would likely have gotten an e-mail at some point, I'm guessing when they scanned your package for the truck. Although I think I forgot to mark it on one Stamps.com package, even.
-
I also don't believe that the USPS has in transit tracking ability unless you use a priority method. The stamps.com tracker just lets you know it shipped and will probably let you know when it was delivered.

It arrived this morning when I was still asleep from too much beer ;D
It didn't even go trhough the customs office so I don't have to pay anything more :)
It looks great and I hope we can wrap up the second adventure soon with new enthusiasm.

Good to hear!

Now I had a closer look there's one minor issue I have with the book. The binding looks very good except on the last page. It looks as if there the cover will come off and the pages might fall out. It's not a big thing at the moment but if the book gets used a lot at the table it might become a problem.
Now, I'm not complaining and I have bought books that had far worse binding (Anyone else bought books from Mongoose this summer?) but I thought I'd mention it in case it is not only an issue with my copy but with the whole batch and you want to look into it.
Apart from that I'm completely happy :)
-
First of all, if you think it's a defective copy, I'll send you another free of charge. Let me know.
Second, what are you seeing, exactly. I've looked at a few of my copies and I'm not seeing anything. You have a hardbound, right?
-
Alright, the last page looks like it's going to come off pretty soon. I'm talking about the thicker white page right between the normal pages and the cover. It also looks as if the cover and the back might come off the rest of the pages once this has happened.
There is also a small tear in the foil on the back of the cover but this might just have happened during shipping or me handling the book.
Well I might be lucky and nothing will happen or it will come apart at the first gaming session.
I'm a bit reluctant to ask for a replacement because it is not yet a big problem and looking at the shipping costs and such I don't want to cause you trouble :)
-
I WANT to send you a replacement. The only reason I'm not doing it without your permission is you might end up owing customs. :)
Give me the word and it's out on Monday.
-
Well, I didn't have to pay them this time, so if you insist, Sir, I would take it gladly ;)
I can't promise anything but I will try to write a complete review of the first product for rpg.net over the hollydays.

Still waiting, so assuming that all internationals were shipped at the same time I'm afraid that mine lies around at the customs office. :cry2:

They should have been. Don't know your real identity offhand. Send me a PM just in case.

Got my hardcover today, looks great. Only downside is the black and white maps but understand why.
Any update on the color atlas?
-
I'm plucking away at it. Right now, without D&D 4th saving the line, I don't think that any books after the map folio will get done anytime soon, but I can afford to do the map folio out of my own pocket, so I intend to put out at least that book, then others as the old books pay for themselves.
-
Got mine yesterday. Very nice.
Is that your signature in the front the looks like AL Luuuuu?
-
Yes. I went to med school, but only took the course on signatures.
-
Right now, without D&D 4th saving the line,
Do you mean the whole EoH line or just the print line?
-
I mainly meant as a print product, however for the company to be viable, we have to make money in print EVENTUALLY. No need to panic now, though, we had our biggest month yet with the product 4 release.
-
My book arrived yesterday (but I had to get it from the post-office today).
It looks perfect. Not a single ding or scratch on it, but there is a stamp from customs office ontop of the package. However, there is no extra charge, yet.
But it really looks great - Yuhuu - I have to put it under our tree :santa:
-
Still waiting :'(
-
The new book arrived today and it looks beautiful. :)
Thank you again for the replacement!
-
Oh, great! That's a relief!
