Can ERA support play-by-post with remote players?
« on: February 16, 2021, 10:25:30 PM »
I'm considering purchasing ERA to help the players in a play-by-post game I'm setting up. This game is strictly online, and I'm wondering if there's a way to allow those players access to the character-creation aspect.

Alternatively, is there a way to import character details from another source, like RM Office? This would let them make their characters, then I could simply transfer them into ERA without having to recreate them manually.

There is not, as far as I know, a way to import characters. You can easily allow others to access your local server. I use noip.com but you could just open the port on your router and give them the ip address.

We use it for leveling but also during sessions so they can see their character status.
