Hey,
I got the setting book, and it seems very interesting.
I noticed you said that you got some inspiration from the movie The Prophecy.
I know there is a Zao song on the Where Fire and Blood Bring Rest cd that has a clip from the movie The Prophecy in it at the beginning.
This isn't all the way accurate, just what I can remember:
"I stood with my brothers, and watched the sky burn. I saw the faces of angels, destroyed, and the creation fell. I stood with my brothers, but now, my brothers weren't brothers."
I can't remember the name of the song off hand, but I should be able to find it later.

Its Ravage Ritual "I remember the first war, the way the sky burned. The faces of angels destroyed. I saw a third of Heaven's legion banished, And the creation fell. I stood with my brothers and watched and listened to the revolt. But now, my brothers aren't my brothers"

There you go!
I like my singers sounding like they gargle razors, hehe. :)
They are from Greensburg PA, which is really close to where I live. They went to my High School too (well some of the revolving door band mates).
Anyway, I can see where The Prophecy influenced Echoes of Heaven.

Its a nifty movie, but it also has Christopher Walken in it;D

What do you mean BUT? <gesturing for a couple a guys to head over to your house>

Heh, like it has Christopher Walken=good. Not that its not an interesting movie in itself but any movie with Mr. Walken in it just gains a few more levels in goodness ;D
