Random ship cargoes?
« on: February 24, 2010, 07:44:19 PM »
I was just wondering if anybody knew of a product that randomly generated ship cargoes for a privateers campaign.  (There's a huge difference between a freighter carrying 1000 cubic meters of gold, and one carrying 1000 cubic meters of wool sweaters.)

I know that there is a Traveller Product that has some stats for cargo and IMO you could use that for randomness. So no I do not know of one for SM:P or SM2.

I did one for Galactic Adventures, I'll have to reprise it for Galaxies in Shadow some time.

There it is!

It's on page 65 but it's just a list not a generator.  Heh, I wonder what I did with the random generator?  To the archive Watson!

Both contain full trading systems including cargo generators that should be very easy to convert and in some case you prolly can use em straight as they are for SM.
I do recommend Spaceships 2 since it's more generic in nature and easier to customize and not to mention it's cheaper.
