So, there's no problem if I manually input the data into my spreadsheet, as long as I use it for my own use, right?

You can load it. You can even use it with your local gaming group. You just can't distribute it.

This is one of the reasons I'll be paying for Combat Minion.  Once you can input your own tables you can basically take any of the old stuff that ICE cannot legally publish/distribute anymore and just input it yourself.  I have a LOT of stuff from RM2 that I use in RMSS (critical tables especially).  Better yet I can just make my own stuff and input it.

Just a small correction/clarification. Combat Minion itself is free. You'll actually be paying for an ICE data license for Combat Minion. Thus ICE commercialises their IP, as they should.

True.  I'll definately be getting the RMSS license, but I'd like to add in a lot of the RM2 material.  Since we aren't going to be gaming for a bit I'm not rushing out to by the info yet.  I'm hoping to be able to pull tables from one and insert them into the other (not really a conversation for here though now that I think about it...)
