I could never get used to the mouse jumping across screens....
Takes 1 minute...

Yes, it's really easy to get used to.

Maybe it's my vision. I have one really dominant eye (not to mention bad astigmatism and really bad near and far-sightedness). I am just getting used to my 'progressive' glasses. Getting old sucks.

You can give it a try by using your current monitor with your iMac - then you will see how awesome it is without having to spend any money. :)

But the iMac's large pixel count will mean that a lot more stuff is going to fit on the one monitor anyway. I need to start saving for a 4k monitor myself!

I use 3 monitors currently but the third is usually for Netflix/Amazon/Twitch stuff. :P

I always say that getting old is better than the alternative. It's the ageing part that really sucks.

I couldn't really get a higher resolution monitor without getting an absolutely huge one (say, 50"+); my current two are at about the limit where I can comfortably read the writing.

Well, I have had this 21" widescreen iMac for 5 years and it has been great, but I have wished I could have the InDesign page spreads larger and still have the menus. The 27" one has a much higher resolution and of course a lot more screen real estate. So exciting. It should be here in a few days (still need to assemble the side desk for the old iMac to sit behind me). Also bought a new printer/fax/scanner that is supposed to be networkable with both computers wirelessly.

I love using my 55 inch TV for my computer monitor. Especially since my sight has been getting worse, I now need reading glasses and a small correction when I had uber awesome vision in years past.

Ugh, a cold turned into either a sinus infection or bronchitis (the former I get periodically; the latter is going around). Neti pot and various hot teas...

Starting to feel better and back to writing. Need to finish an art list for HARP, and been making real progress on Emer IV. Once the new Mac comes, I'll get back into revisions of Emer I and II, since that will involved InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop work.

Working more on SW Emer: some races that have not been fully explored before beyond a paragraph in the Atlas. Not to mention the Warlocks of Itanis, Kaitaine, the City of the Dead, and more. I had forgotten how much there was here. Any thoughts, suggestions on what you want to see in Emer IV?

I know that SW has all those races with stats but a Race book with stats, what part of SW they are from, Languages, background descriptions, normal RM race profiles would be a great help here. I would love to implement this greater into my games but the lack of the above and an easy way of finding it all is not helping. The new SW players guide for example gives some race description but no stats and the languages are only eleven and not a complete list of any character information. For a players guide I was hoping for more.

It's RMFRP, I don't know if that helps you, but a lot of that info is in the RMFRP Races And Cultures book.
http://www.rpgnow.com/product/95669/RMFRP-Races-and-Cultures?manufacturers_id=461

It includes both RMFRP and Shadow World versions of races for which that is applicable.

Didn't the Master Atlas 4 have both RMC & RMFRP stats for all the races?

The Player's Guide was a general overview of Kulthea (the Western Hemisphere anyway), there were going to be more detailed books for each continent...

Mr. Amthor,

Can you tell us what the next publication will be? When do you anticipate its release?

Thanks,

I can't say for sure what the next one will be, but I can say with some assurance what the next 4 written by me will be, not in any particular order:

NE Jaiman/Wuliris (basically all new)
Emer I revision
SW Emer
Emer II revision

We also have two submitted modules that I am editing, in various stages.

FINALLY got it worked out with the printer about the Eidolon softcover, so should be seeing a proof any day, and available soon after!

Been rolling on Emer IV the last few days... I really should finish one project before starting a new one. I have too many balls in the air.

Strange, that sounds familiar... ;-)

Hmmm... For some reason my new Windows 10 with Edge (IE version whatever) won't allow me to use the emoticons.

Looking forward to this (as well as the NE Jaiman stuff).

Aside from the obvious stuff (Kaitaine, Rhiani, Vajaar, Itanis, Lys, City of Dead), the ONE thing I really want to see more explored is the Alliance. The Alliance is at the doorstep to Emer, and Uj is that doorstep. So I think a more in-depth understanding of The Alliance and their ambitions and plans for Emer is warranted (or much desired at the very least).
Did Kaitaine cave in to The Alliance demands as suggested 8 years ago? http://www.ironcrown.com/ICEforums/index.php?topic=5768.msg76380#msg76380

What does it mean to be a subject state of The Alliance?
How does the Ahrenreth react to The Alliance expansion to Emer (and their possibly conflicting goals of world domination)?

I'm a sucker for the intrigue and politics, both on a world and regional level and I see The Alliance as something that plays a major role in this. I would also like to see how the Ahrenreth operates in this part of the world. It's an area that is not so directly 'controlled' by them as Ardania/SW Emer is. What other agents of Unlife are there in the region (aside from the White Wood)? Are there any organized cults (similar to the Priests Arnak)?

Other potential ideas for further development/exploration:
 - The migration routes of the 12 Rhiani tribes
 - The sacred ruins and surrounding tent city of Shezarak
 - Caves of the Charn Raiders
 - The Vajaari-Komarean war
 - The secrets of the City of the Dead (something I think everyone has eagerly awaited since the publication of the original Emer boxed set)
 - Life in terraces of Lys and sibling squabbles (referring to the princes of Lys, sorry, from an earlier adventure of mine...)
 - The Murlogi realm under the mountains of the Morbek highlands (or will this fall under Emer I)?
 - Life in the streets of Kaitaine and the politics behind it

Emer III is Electrum at RPG Now. Oh, I see it happened in October.   :-[  Still, nice. Electrum is like 2.5x Silver sales.

I guess I really should knuckle down on Emer IV, and get those I & II revisions out!
