Unified Arms Law
« on: September 30, 2012, 09:19:52 PM »
Any word on when Arms Law will be released?  I've got a group of players on G+ lined up and ready to go!

I'm afraid I can't give an eta for it - it's slow going. But it'll be longer than a few days - sorry.   :-[

To offer some explanation, prose to prose is work, but tables to tables is hard work. . .of all the books, which is the most tables?

Can we get some hints as to what it will include?  Such as...
- Will AT5 remain terrible?
- Will AT2 remain even more terrible?
- Will weapons go back to inflicting multiple critical types (sometimes you get a Slash, sometimes you get an Impact or Krush)
- Will there be rules for armor by the piece?

Will a comprehensive Martial Arts system be part of Core?

There will be many changes, but as Craig has indicated, doing even a preliminary layout of Arms Law is really painful.

Best wishes,
Nicholas

Saturday has arrived, 6.5 hours until session start and still no Arms Law, any news or do I have to dust off a previous combat system and spend the afternoon converting?

It's currently with the powers that be (as of late last night) to make sure I've not missed anything.  8)

I don't know if it'd be available to the public in the next 6 hours though. :(

+1  This is a good idea.  Trying to find a copy of the Martial Arts Companion these days is a gigantic pain in the behind.

One of the critical tables succeeded in its Hiding maneuver, so I've flagged that to Craig. Sanity checking to see if any other tables got away.

Best wishes,
Nicholas
