Rolemaster Playtest?
« on: September 28, 2012, 10:47:31 AM »
OK, I am confused, it sounds like the new RMU is out for beta (or gamma?) testing, is it? Cause I would love to test it, and willing to pay for it.

Cool, thanks. You go off-line for a few hours and all hell breaks loose.

Yes the book is in formatting right now. Which is to say it takes time. Lots of tables to import and try and get looking decent without taking tons of time.

Thanks.  I am creating characters for the Playtest group we will run.  I know the question will come up.

In case anyone missed it the Arms Law playtest is now available for download.

As for time restrictions on the playtest, as yet we haven't set a date but we will give you plenty of warning when it is approaching so that you can submit all your thoughts and feedback on the forums.

talsharien, As far as I am aware Treasure Law and Creature Law will also be available for playtest, but that is a bit further off. In the meantime we will be providing some creature stats to use so stay tuned!

Thanks for the reply Matt. In fairness these are probably the 2 books least needed to run the game in play-test conditions. I am sure that most GM's have access to treasure, items and monsters from previous versions of the game (and others) that they can use.

Happy days on the RMU play-test

Also IMHO I think there might be a big change in RMU CrL vs other versions, but I am just guessing.
