Topic: ISC & Jeronan Empire Sourcebooks?

Hi,

I'm new to the forum, but not new to Spacemaster (or Rolemaster for that matter), Hello! 

I wanted to ask if there are any future plans to publish the ISC and Jeronan Empire Sourcebooks?

For that matter, any future plans to publish any new Spacemaster stuff?

I would have thought that with the whole 'new age' of PDF publication, it would have been a possibility, surely?

I'm missing reading the 'interludes'.

Actually, we are currently looking at possible options right now. No promises, but "never say never".

Now that's what I wanted to hear! 

Any new background material (rather than just purely new/reworked game mechanics) would be well received. There's just not enough background info in the current books to do anything other than make it all up on your own.

It would be really nice to see the ISC and the Joronan Empire fleshed out some more.

Right now I hold a license that would allow me to produce the books through Final Redoubt Press.  The problem is just the resources necessary to produce them (read:  time resources).  I'd feel bad tossing in another product that would interfere with The Echoes of Heaven release schedule, but know that I'm thinking about it.  I have another product for SM I've considered as well.

Anyway, I just thought I'd let you know.  It's not out of the question, I'm just swamped as it is.

It's a shame that SM isn't a priority, but it's nice to know you have ideas and options for SM on the back burner.

A background book covering the SM:P universe (maybe even a combined ISC/Jeronan/All of known space sourcebook?) would be REALLY nice though!

The game mechanics are such a natural for Sci-Fi games, I've always been amazed that more official material hasn't been published over the years.

I for one will be looking forward to any future SM:P material (or varieties) that are produced.

Just make sure you keep up the excellent Interludes!

I've been going over the with the idea of podcasting it, but frankly, I don't think my writing career can survive that book.    Not at this point, at any rate.  I've come a long way since I wrote it and I need to be careful to not release stuff that makes it look like I've regressed.  I'm still open to the idea of writing new stuff, but this is the wrong time for the novel.

Maybe, but it's a prequel novel, so it would take a special kind of product.  More likely, I'll just right new interludes for interludes.
