Same here with me. Just waiting for the print version. Will buy it as soon as it is available. I have PDFs of some other books but would rather have the physical copy in my hands.

I understand re the print version. Working on the errata corrections now (thanks to those who are contributing!) and will be sending it off for print hopefully soon.

Just so you know, I will be buying 2 copies of the printed book: one hard cover and one soft. Unlike Yammahoper I am fine with my RPG ~~addiction~~ ...err..

.. collection, as I have previously in my life sold of my collections twice (first when joining the USMC, and then when leaving said enlistment) and have always rebought what I could - and added to it, of course. So, I will keep this collection and donate when I die, probably the local library or friends/relatives or all of the above. (Maybe a few choice items I will take with me....

)

Laugh Points were removed about 5 months ago.... We are re-purposing them for something that will assist with the promotion of the business.

Anyone have any comments about Emer III? Likes/dislikes? How about those rainforest encounter tables? Or the Prophet of Valris' New Years Eve bombshell in Eidolon? Not enough adventures? Not detailed enough? As I'm working on the other book revisions and adding adventures, I'm curious.

I know it's a lot to digest, but any feedback is helpful.

I just downloaded it, and gave it a skim. Wow. Really impressive, Terry.

Specific likes at this point would be the maps - as always, but specifically the new Southeast Emer GM Map, new Emer continental map, and the hemisphere map. Who do I need to sacrifice to get matching NE, NW, and SW Emer maps, by the way?

I liked the Aurelyn deck plans, simple as those might seem. The landscape art (Bryce?) was nice - I enjoyed being put in the space, so to speak, CG notwithstanding. The cover is really striking. The Tower of Vour and the Sky-Rock Haven Kalumi both really stood out at me.

Yea - it's a lot to digest. I speed read, and wow it's a lot to digest.

As an aside: I've been gaming since '79, so I'm familiar with ICE / SW and such ... Emer III looks fantastic. I picked up a handful of SW / Emer stuff at DundraCon yesterday - Emer I, Emer Atlas (missing map) and Eidolon (missing city map), so that's what brings me to the forum and Emer III (by way of background).

Thanks BrainI, I'm glad you like them.

I created the Hemisphere & Continent Maps in Photoshop and the other 3 Emer quadrant maps are already done so no sacrifices needed... except for your money to buy the other books and time in leaving a review at RPGNow.

I created the landscapes in Vue (and the figures were Poser) so you were close with Bryce. In fact Terry used Bryce for the CG in the previous Emer products and Master Atlas'.

I know you mention that you're familiar with the Shadow World but there's also the Shadow World Player Guide - The World available from RPGNow which is a great way to get back into Kulthea or as an introduction to potential players (as it doesn't give any GM knowledge away).

More exciting news for Emer III: the print files are being uploaded to the printer, so we should be getting proofs in 1-2 weeks. If all goes well (fingers crossed), Perfect bound and Casebook editions will be available soon after.

Yes, that's hardback, same as we released Xa-ar and Cloudlords in (besides perfect-bound, which is paperback with a spine)
