I've been doing some rearranging and clean up on my website, which involves tweaking some of my old articles. I can't believe it's been fifteen years since I wrote this one, originally published in the Guild Companion. With the new Star Trek movie being out, and a new series on the way, maybe there would be some interest in it again, although I'm not sure what the best way to handle Starship combat would be.
