Title: ICE Forums Maintenance
Post by: Thom @ ICE on December 10, 2012, 08:20:47 PM
Here's a quick update on our progress on the new website, we're almost there.  Some time this week we'll be shifting the forums into maintenance mode and then moving the files over to the new host and upgrading our software. After the move is complete and we've validated the new forums, we'll release the forums out of maintenance mode and return you to your posting pleasure.

During this transition period we will launch the new website.  When the forums come back up they'll also look a little different, so we're looking forward to hearing your feedback on both the forums and the new website in the days ahead.

Thank you for your patience during this short intermission and we hope the withdrawal won't be too painful or long.

Regards,
Thom

Just to make sure, will Tapatalk be supported after the maintenance?

Now that the stickies are pushing new posts off the page even on my 1920x1200 display, maybe it's time for some of them to be consolidated or de-stickified? This one seems like a prime candidate.

Unless you have already done, please keep the same color scheme as these forums.  I don't know about anyone else, but for me, this current color scheme is much easier on the eyes and causes less eye strain when reading a lot of posts.

Thanks.

When we do the maintenance it will mostly be just behind the scenes stuff... though there will be a couple of new features (including Tapatalk).
