Scabard RPG manager
« on: October 10, 2022, 06:24:10 AM »
Hi,
I have recently started using Scabard campaign manager for my world building and in it they have stat blocks, spell blocks etc to drop into the campaign when required for D&D.  An example is below.  I have requested if they can do this for HARP (and prob RM at some point).  Is this allowed or do they require special permission?  The blocks (called brews) are layouts rather than actual detail, the detail is added by the GM when they build the encounter or world.

Thanks

Can I assume the lack of response is agreement that producing such a template would be no problem?

It might have something to do with the fact that files take a long time to get approved on these forums.

Sorry I can't help you further; I'm just a poster like you.

That image looks a lot like the TTRPG Stat Blocks in Obsidian.
If you've never heard of Obsidian it is a "knowledge base" application that uses plain text Markdown files stored in a local folder to organize your notes. There is a huge mod community and the TTRPG part of this community is probably the largest sub community for Obsidian.
I am currently working on the Stat Blocks for HARP in my Obsidian vault. Attached is a screenshot of the Stat block I have so far. The second shot is what the stat block s will be replacing.

Thanks, that looks interesting.

I'll have a look at Obsidian vault, loving Scabard just now for world building, they're just working on a feature where it can generate adventure ideas, rumours and world building ideas for places.  It's very useful.  Currently, I'm just altering the D&D blocks for HARP.
