Jimbo:
In the Adept descrition it says it he can choose a second active talent in the same field.  Does this mean he can choose to start at Tier II?  Its a little confusing and could be written clearer.  I spent a lot of time trying to figure it out. . . but then again, if you read my transit time table post, I'm obviously not that bright.
