Spacemaster Galaxy Maps

Over the last several years, I've gone through all the Spacemaster books I can get my hands on and I've been recording house and system locations (I've even managed to map them).  There are a lot of houses that I don't know the location of and I'm wondering if anyone has a list that might include some of these.  For example, in Armored Reserves they talk about a conflict between House Shantac and Harkenbuhse.  I can't find any coordinates for either of these houses or the names of their home systems.

Another example is House Colos and House Ptolemus.  I could add another dozen systems to my map if I just knew where Ptolemus is.  I managed to get the Tau Albriton sector from the Silent Death 1st edition Night Brood module (33 Lupi is the key). (and yes, I know, 2nd ed. Silent Death info is worthless for this project, but 1st ed is still fair game!)

Any information anyone might have on locations for systems would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!  I've always had the feeling that someone had this all mapped out at ICE, and I've hoped that they might share it on the web at some point, but I haven't been able to find it.

I am guessing there are many houses mentioned in the books whose location is never specified. The starmap in SM2 was pretty lacking (just location of specific stars) and I'm not sure there ever was anything better. Privateers of course had a different map.

Interestingly, you'd be a little bit wrong in that thought.  The vast majority of the modules either give the coordinates of the systems they are talking about outright or they are on a map that you can figure out what they should be by using the grid presented.  Its also interesting to note that most of the houses that are mentioned during the majority of the run are either listed in the GM book (and thus have their home system coordinates listed) or are added in a setting/adventure book and have their coordinates listed.  There are exceptions of course (like Gilliam), but for the most part, that's the case. 

As a slight aside - I've always found it interesting that House Colos, as the big bad of much of the setting, only has the location of a single system given (their home system).  Also, they only seem to have a single additional system (COL 72) attributed to them. 

At some point, there was a change though.  Houses like Red Star, Tokugawa, Harkenbuhse and Shantac were suddenly mentioned with the Armored Reserves book (as were conflicts they were involved in). Hinting at a larger, more detailed galaxy - or maybe just a second phase of universe building.  Anyway, I've always believed that someone, somewhere must have had an idea where things were so they could do the right story telling.  After all, the SM product line was way too detailed for them not to have an idea.

I'll take as much detail as I can get, but the biggest thing for me is to figure out the locations of at least the home systems for these houses.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!  Maybe someone knows something or someone who knows someone who knows something.

I'm also sharing a picture of my map of all the SM star systems.  The file is too big to upload to the forums (just shy of 89 mb), so the picture will have to do.  This particular one doesn't have the systems from 1st ed Silent Death on it yet, but I have coordinates for about a dozen systems to add to the middle-left of the map.
