With Green Gryphon complete and the Eidolon revision not far off it, what's probably going to be the next supplement to be completed?

Right now, I honestly don't know. Emer II and Wuliris are front-runners, along with two modules by other authors I am editing, but there is also Artifacts, Jaiman revision, Emer I...

Out of curiosity, just how far along is Artefacts? I had been assuming that it wasn't really started, but it sounds like more work may have been done on it than I thought.

There are about 45-50 pages done (about half what I have written for Wuliris); that's not including all the special spell lists. However, with Artifacts, a fair portion will be material from OOP products that will never otherwise see the light of day again (e.g., Atlas Addendum © 1990). I do plan to create a bunch of completely new Artifacts as well, so it won't be all recycled.

I was just looking through the Atlas Addendum; there's a significant amount of content in it related to artefacts and tech.

Yes 20pp or so, but I would not use it all. For instance the Narselkin are in Tanara.

I wondered if you might combine everything in one volume anyway, as I think was done in Treasures of Middle Earth.

Speaking of Treasures of Middle-earth, I'm wondering if Terry has ever envisioned/considered a version of a Creatures of Middle-earth - style supplement for Shadow World, or if we just should content ourselves with the generic Creatures & Monsters for RM (whichever version you run)?

In other words, are there sufficiently unique or different enough creatures to the setting to warrant such a standalone supplement, or are the entries in the current books deemed sufficient? I think it would be nice to have them all in one place.

I guess that would again depend on the IP of the old Shadow World modules. A lot of them had individual creatures for the areas. Combining them into a single volume (and add a little here and there) might indeed be worth a separate publication.

For now, there are a lot of SW creatures, demons, and races still available in PDF format in the atlases 3rd and 4th edition. I could see a 'Creatures & Peoples of Shadow World' at some point, but not high on my personal agenda.

I suppose that someone else could start collating all the information from the various sources.

I would contact Nicholas before starting work. He may have specific plans in mind (like waiting for RMU).

I imagine it would be awhile before RMU is ready enough to have the stats included, although it would make sense to wait until it is before releasing such a supplement. Although I expect that it would also need stats for the other systems too.

Again, that would be Nicholas' decision. I just write my little Shadow World books, and put in RM2 stats, and he does the rest.

Working on Eidolon edits and final layouts.... May is still looking good. 250+ pages! The color city map will be windowed in a couple of different scales inside the book; I am arranging it so facing pages are adjacent snapshots of city sections (does that make sense?).

The full-size map will be included as a PDF that can be printed.

Terry,

In regards to what you should work on next:

Please go look at the first sentence in the first post of this thread.  So where is it?

Kaitaine is the biggest "hole" left in Shadow World.  Biggest impact thing you could do.

Yay! Perfect bound print edition should be available soon after I do the most recent edits and the cover format.

What's correct for the creator of the Narselkin?  Some places it says Tethior and other it says Krelij.  Since Krelij is "the Swordmaker" I would assume that, but not necessarily.
