For Queen and Country

Formula: Your characters are living in the Moonshaes under High Queen Alicia and High King Keane Kendrick.  As Knights, Housecarls, or loyal commoners of the realm, you quest for the glory of the Moonshaes and Fight to protect the Moonshaes from dire threats.

Theme: Bravery versus injustice.

Tone: the Campaign has more of a overtone of Ivanhoe than King Arthur.

The whole campaign is setup like a T.V. series.  Given how fast a Rolemaster character advances vs. a modern (4.0) D&D Character, we might be able to get through a series without the characters getting too big for the series' britches.  Rules are: at least find a copy of Ivanhoe and watch it.  The Adventures of Robin Hood and Excalibur would be good to watch too.  Reading Steven Lawhead's Pendragon Cycle may give you some great ideas for characters.

Plus, if you can, read the original Darkwell trilogy and the Druidholme trilogy.  If you have the Moonshae Isles reference for 1st Edition AD&D, look through that.  If you want to play reply to this thread and I'll send you a PM asking you for your emails so I can send you a conversion document via a large file service (like you sendit).

When you create your characters, print out a picture of an actor or actress that you would think would play the role on T.V. brilliantly. :)  Lets have some fun.
