The Haalkitaine book says that Kalen and Jad are Bard and Paladin respectively.

It seems to me that the way the Shadowstone Chronicles have evolved that that has probably changed.

Perhaps Magician now for Kalen?

And Monk for Jad?

What do people think?

Off the top of my head I don't remember Jad casting any spells, so I would place him as some sort of non-spell user, probably fighter. Magician sounds right for Kalen, though.

Actually just re-read one of the later chapters again last night and it actually states that Kalen is a bard (still)

Going to go for Essence Bard and Mentalist Monk

I like the Essence Bard for Kalen but as a plug to my GM, the other has to be a sailor, they can do anything.
