Some Ebay stuff
« on: November 23, 2008, 03:19:43 PM »
Just in case anyone is interested, I am selling a copy of the original Iron Wind on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=260320845206

And a 3rd edition Arms Law (1982, parchment book)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=260320836649

And a bunch of Kult RPG books:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=260320821870

And my old Ringworld game (*sniff*)

That Ringworld is tempting; I'm surprised you're willing to part with it.  But I collect old games so maybe it has more fascination for me than it does for others (got Cleric's Revenge by ICE at this years GenCon; still in the shrink!).  If I weren't in danger of losing my job of 13 years I'd certainly bid on this.  Good luck with it.  I hope you make some good cash off of what is some interesting material.

I would recommend Kult to anyone loking for something out of the ordinary. I got the first original Swedish printing myself...

Its already gone. No surprise really, its rather rare.

Would love to look throught the original version myself. Read its different than the international version.

Nejira>Very true, the original is much more cruel and nasty. They had to clean it up to make it "acceptable".

Kult has one of the best firearm systems out there. Fast and deadly. We started to use it in Shadow Run. Worked well. I hear that acceptable part a fair bit, and Canada's censorship laws and rules are pretty straight forward. Why do we suffer so!

Good luck on the sales!

I have this problem as well.  I would definitely have been bidding if I weren't in a bad job situation; I would have loved Ringworld and Iron Wind.

Well bummer you guys are not in better situations.  :-(  I have just shelves of stuff that I never look at or use, so trying to get rid of extra things. (Still clutching tightly to last Court of Ardor, Lorien...)

Axel and his facelift scare me. Tax? Does Ebay hit you with tax? It's been so long since I have put up anything for sale...

Well no, not ebay. I live in Europe (Denmark to be exact) and if I buy something outside Europe (USA especially) I have to pay 25% import tax of the total cost (this includes shipping) and a handling fee for the nice people at customs (about $40). So lets say I buy something costing $40, and shipping is $40 as well. Thats a total of $80+25% tax=$100+$40 for the handling fee. Thats a grand total of $140 for an item I bought for $40.

So kinda stopped buying stuff from the states.
