Gygax Magazine
« on: February 17, 2015, 03:59:45 AM »
So, I just picked up a copy of Gygax Magazine, issue 1. What a blast from the past that was! Brought back memories of the old Dragon Magazine, when I first started picking it up. It was very reminiscent of it; something I think they were going for. Quite a few different game systems in it too - Dragon wound up being TSR, then WotC heavy.

I picked up one simply because it had a Top Secret adventure in it (by Merle Rasmussen, no less). It is a blast from the past...I like the couple I've read thus far.
Darn that salt pork!

After finishing issue one, I've just bought (as with the first, PDF on RPGNow) issues two and five. I meant to buy issue two; I accidentally bought issue five first. Well, I'll read it at some point.

Gygax Magazine is a very good periodical.  I have gotten a lot of use out of all the magazines so far, and they do bring back a lot of good memories from my earlier gaming days.  :)
