For you SW fans who don't happen to peruse the other sections of the forum, Nicholas has announced the 'ransom' of Guild Adventurer #2.
You can read all about it here:

Excellent idea to post this here, too!
I already chipped in though - so for me it is too late. ;D

[Folding arms across chest and tapping foot]
Now kids... I know this whole 'ransom' thing is a little complicated, but we need to make our minimum before the Guild Adventurer #2 can be released. Isn't it worth a total of around $6.00 for a spiffy new SW adventure plus a lot of other goodies? You'd pay that for a take-away lunch at work! (I do, or more, too often). I know we can make our goal, there are a lot of SW fans still out there! Tell your friends! (I feel like one of those NPR pledge-drive people, urg).
Head over to:

and make your pledge today! Keep quaility radio programming Shadow World alive!
Don't make me send the Shards to your house!

The Shards have arrived! Its the dreaded........Bob the Shard!

WOW, i was really out of Rolemaster for a while.
I pledged to the first one, and will do to this one. Really interested, only that i forgot absolutely about this.

Hmm ...
How many pledges has been gotten outside the ChipIn system? It currently seems like we're way behind ... might demotivate pledgers ...
-
I pledged by email and was then asked to do it by Chipin instead.
Seems like it is the preferred route. Personally I don't mind either way so long as I get the product eventually, but I could understand itr putting some people off.
Perhaps they had some email pledgers first time round that didn't pay-up?

Now if he could get those Shards jobs delivering Pizza, he could afford to quit that nasty day job and write SW stuff all the time!

Everyone who emailed a pledge last time did buy their books
This time, the combination of ChipIn + the 1 dollar at RPGNow/YourGamesNow equals the discount price.
If we had simply allowed people to buy the product at a discount price at RPGNow, then we'd lose a lot of money because RPGNow now takes 35% of the sale price. When we did TGA#1, RPGNow only took 25%. That 10% difference makes *all* the difference.
Hence the two routes: ChipIn+1 dollar or full-price buy.
Best wishes,
Nicholas

If you don't make the ransom by June 10?
If the chip-in/ransom price is $5, how did you end up with a current total which is not a multiple of $5?
If someone chips in more than $5, what happens?

I can extend the ChipIn deadline.

One of our Patrons pledged the full price through ChipIn.
If someone chips in more than $5, what happens?
Usually this would be because the person wants to buy multiple copies either for other people or as gifts for other people.
Best wishes,
Nicholas
