So, in this instance, a Healer would also make a very good "royal food taster" also.

Interesting. Do GM views on defining a "wound" differ? I do not consider a) poisons, b) diseases, c) curses, d) spell effects like Dark Stunning or the like to be "wounds" hence they can't be transferred.

So in the first example - I would say the Healer could sense the rib into Aorta issue (say by Perception or innate ability).

Well, technically neither poison nor disease is transferable or at least are not covered by the RM2 version of the Healer Base, and transfer says anything covered by the other 5 lists. . .stun can be taken though, as it's on Surface Ways.

A Monk with Body Renewal, or any Mentalism realm caster with Damage Resistance would make a better poison tester based on the logic of this thread.
