Title: Effective duration of an Intuitions spell
Post by: Old Man on December 28, 2010, 10:24:54 AM
Good Morning,

So, when a player casts an Intuition (1 minute vision after a certain action) - does watching the vision take a minute as well? Or do you shorten it (like a series of images)?

Regards,
Old Man

I usually have the spell last 1 round, as a quick-mental play unfolds. . .or else the high level versions might get a bit wonky as you stand there dazed while a guard comes around the corner and handcuffs you before you wake out of it.

Well that's the corundum that I wondered about. The PC could be inactive while he has this vision (much like a Dream spell).

I considered that, but intuitions appear on semi lists, and standing there dazed for minutes seemed contrary to the logic of those kinds of characters. We always played it as the Paladin waving his sword around then saying "We're going left".
