Topic: Putting out feelers...Southern Illinois (Herrin/Marion area)

This is a long shot, since I live in a gaming dead zone, but...

Anyone else out here?  In the past I've had folks who would drive in from Mt. Vernon even, though I think that might be the limit of acceptable commuting (especially with the price of gas these days).

Herrin, Marion, Carbondale...or any other of the small 'blink and you'll miss it' cities nearby?

If I can get a group together, I'm thinking of running RMFRP with a couple of RMSS books thrown in as well (Fire and Ice, Arcane).

sorry dude, i live in staunton il and i map quested you. two hours and ninteen minutes! way to far bud. I sympathize, i know what its like living in a dead zone. my advice, look to family and friends that like the same kinds of movies as you. talk them into trying it out. you may find some people. also, go to borders or the local(or as local as possible) comic store and strike up a conversation. hang out around the sci fi and rpg stacks and see who turns up.
