For those interested in the new HARP Steampunk, I've put some related material up on my Web site:

  • My Character Sheet Blanks. This consists of two files: p. 1 is based on the standard ICE HARP form-fillable PDF, while p. 2 (the skills list) is an Excel spreadsheet. A slightly clunky approach, perhaps, but it works for me.
  • Two demo scenarios on my Scenarios page. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the HARP material.

Enjoy!

Thanks! I reposted these on the Discord server.

I have not read the scenarios in detail, but as general comment I think it is shame there are no maps. Complicated buildings like a factory are difficult to improvise at the heat of the moment.

If you want ready-to-run adventures I would say it is good idea to provide some map sketches with the type of the room. Including actual flavor texts is not IMHO essential, if I know it is boiler room I can improvise as needed to keep the story flowing.

How usable is this book with Rolemaster Classic ?

All the ideas and setting material would be applicable, and you could use the equipment tables. You would need to rework the skill lists and professions, decide how to handle the talents, and make some other adjustments to the game mechanics. It would be much easier than trying to set up a Steampunk campaign in RM from scratch though.

I've just updated the Character Sheet Blanks. Specifically, I've cleaned up the page 2 spreadsheet, deleting the additional pages and protecting all the fields that users shouldn't be editing.

Thanks for the info.
