Well, not getting ahead of ourselves...   ;) I hope to see Xa-ar do well; obviously that will help inspire me to get back into writing more actively after this lull with the previous situation.

I voted Emer III but I'll take anything...

I really liked your backstory for the Earth Wardens and the Coral Roads.

Shadow World continues to be a fascinating meld of Fantasy and Science Fiction.  It's better than a lot of Novels out there and in many ways it's the narrative that keeps me coming back for more.  Please keep it up.

I believe is the new info about Earthwardens that comes in the new Xa-Ar module.

Although both Emer III and Artifacts & Lost Tech would be nice, I'd actually prefer for Terry to stay on Jaiman and really work on the details. Maybe small adventure modules that describe a certain area, or perhaps some city modules, or nations modules?

Allo allo!

This may be a bit off of your usual track, Terry (and Rasyr, and the rest), but...

What about a RM2 "workbook"?  This would be a set of intelligently crafted  documents designed to make the pen-and-paper "recordkeeping" of RM2 easier -- tracking activities in the round, including combat, parrying, DB, and shield; tracking encumbrance and maneuver penalties; tracking damage and breakage to equipment; determining the difficulty and modifiers for a variety of common maneuvers; easy-to-use indexes and summaries of rules; and a section on integrating rules fluidly into play.  This latter portion might include a number of examples, much as the ones found in the old RM2.  Get feedback from this forum on what's needed, and use these suggestions to determine what people need to get the most out of RM2.

See, I love RM2 -- LOVE it.  But I'm overwhelmed by all the rules and modifiers.  Don't get me wrong.  I adore the complexity, and want to become fluent enough to use it as it was intended -- to create a realistic and compelling world.  But diving back in at age 40, and with 4 kids and 2 businesses to manage, I need time-savers.

Terry, I'm not alone.

The product could come with a limited license to reproduce the documents for personal use, and perhaps even a CD-ROM with PDFs.  And you could sell the PDFs individually for those who want to "pick and choose".

It would also be great to read about the techniques of a top-rate RM Gamemaster in his own words -- both the imaginitive and the technical.

Come on, guys.  You have a BRILLIANT system.  Make it more accessible to those of us who REALLY want to follow you in.

Thanks!

I 2nd that notion.  There should be a SW lite that rips you right into the game world, and then can be expanded on later.  I GM and have not enough time to do intro sessions etc. to warm up new players...

Yeah, with this system (really any of the ICE systems) anything that would speed up the creation of adventures, NPCs, monsters, & everything else would be a big help. Having premade forms, especially ones that can be filled in and printed and reused would go a long way to speeding things up for a GM - and in game play.

But for SW I want to see a Powers of Light & Darkness-esque book dedicated to each of the main powers, good, bad, & otherwise. With more detail and more examples of members/followers, especially with maps and descriptions of bases!! Love them!!!

OMG I completely forgot about that. Before you get too excited, I wrote it long ago and it's far from complete... Too many projects...
