Would you buy a poster map?
« on: October 27, 2007, 04:11:02 PM »
A caveat.  We're intending to release a map book as well, at least through Lulu, with ICE's printer as well if they do the right kind of interiors.  But that would be a section a page, and not a continuous map.  Since posters are the only thing I can't do economically on demand, I thought I'd get this out there.  If you could buy the map book on Lulu, would you still be interested in a poster map of Belkanath for about 9.99?  I haven't priced the map book, but it would likely be about the same or a little more.

I have yet to read anything about Echoes of Heaven and don't even know what Belkanath is?
Yes I would buy it.
I'm looking forward to getting my Adventure Seeds from Lulu and the Echoes stuff when released, as I have read Cyradon and it was written well, I just did not find it to my taste in Campaign settings.
That and it is not supported at all. (back on topic)
$10 is not a large amount of money so yes I would pick it up.

I might be interested.

What format are we talking about? I recently have been interested in artwork, so limited edition prints sound cool :)

Assuming your referring to electronic produced material I would take it just to get the "big picture" scope of the landscape. 10 bucks is no problem.

Good Luck, Grafton

How big a map are you talking about?  Would it be possible to incorporate some type of coordinate system/legend to where the different modules take place?  There is a lot of detail that keeps popping up on the CC3 map that can make it difficult to look for things.

But regardless - I would be interested.

Great news about the map book.  I have always been hoping for such a thing, especially since the yellow just ran out on my home printer...

I don't think I have the artist pool to get a hand drawn map done, but I'll take that under serious advisement.  Assume the answer is no, it would be the CC3 map.  Does that change your vote?

I would prefer to see it posted (on your site) before I buy a CC3 map.
Would it change my vote?
No.

I have bought all of the other EoH stuff so I unless it was done poorly somehow I can't imagine that I wouldn't buy the map too.

So, when should I see EoH #1 on lulu? :)
