Haven't heard anything about Jaiman or Haalkitaine in a long while. Any thoughts/progress on those? Also, like egdcltd, I too am curious as to when we might see a GM's Guide companion to the Player's Guide.

Haalkitaine is actually in very good shape; I don't plan on altering it too much, aside from new format, some new art and adventures. The Jaiman book needs a complete overhaul with more background. I can't address the GM Book, maybe Matt or Nicholas will weigh in.

Was there an image of some type of watchtower on the old Eidolon site? I recall seeing one somewhere - and I don't think it was an U-Lyshaak one - and that's the only place left I can think of.

Can you be more specific? There were a few tower pictures. Off the top of my head there was a tower about to be hit by a flowstorm (very crude Bryce), a Lighthouse of Izar, and Andraax's tower with a copper dome.

Fortunately I had cloned that old site before Apple killed that service. Here's the one I think you are referring to, and the Andraax one as well for good measure.

Yes, the top one is the one I was thinking of, thanks. What is it a picture of? I think it was somebody's watchtower, but that's all I can remember.

Going full steam ahead on Eidolon: new adventures, and several new 'celebrities.' All of course require NPC stats. And I realized that there were already several locals who really should have at least some basic stats, like certain priests of Eissa and Moralis, etc. These certainly make more sense than stats for The Nine. Oh well! You can guess what I'll be spending the next several hours doing.

I'm just going to fire off this little tiny adventure module thing over the next couple of days, and then back to Eidolon...

lol... I love how we totally managed to sidetrack you with this idea of writing adventures for Shadow World that are not hooks tied to the sourcebooks. If only other writers and companies listened as much to their fans as you do. :)

Terry, looking to the future, will this new endeavour signify a few standalone adventures, an anthology containing several, or both?

Hah, well, we'll see what happens. I haven't even cleared this (poor Nicholas is probably wanting to smack me upside the head and tell me to get back to work on the revisions). However, maybe if we put this out, it will provide a template and inspire others to write similar adventures for SW (I would still be the editor), who might have otherwise been intimidated by the monster sourcebooks.

Now back to the mysterious Gryphon Bridge...

My old friend Nicole Lindroos of Green Ronin (and many GenCons long ago), recently posted this on FB. Maybe not that many tabs, but my mind sometimes goes all over the place, and the interwebs do not help me focus!

How does Nicholas smack you from across the pond? Is it some sort of editors ability or a editors spell?  ;D

We seem to have developed a sort of email version of the Gibbs/McGee relationship (If you watch NCIS) where I start to prattle on about some nerdy random thing that interests me at the moment, and if the subtle glare does not work (i.e., ignoring my rambling and asking how x project is going), the verbal smack comes. All authors need an editor, or at least a monitor.

This reminds me of some recent personality test I took, where it said I would just gut my way through things, rather than plot them out. I was like that in computer programming class in college: I could get to a point by just trying out something rather than plodding through a plan (drove Coleman crazy that I could do as well as I did), but after a point programming was just too frustrating for me. As an INFJ, I definitely am more intuitive than analytical.

Wow the Gryphon Bridge adventure ideas are mushrooming... 14? I may have to split off some as 'adventure hooks' and only develop half for this thing.

Is it possible to vote for "all of the above"?

Seriously, I've really been looking forward to Wuliris. I'd like to see you eventually finish off regional books for all of Jaiman and Emer in as much detail as you've done for Xa'ar and Emer III.

That said, quality adventures wouldn't ever be received poorly.
