AutoHARP : Mounts
« on: March 21, 2017, 06:37:57 AM »
In my further exploration of AutoHARP I've been playing around with the equipment tab.

I purchased a Medium Horse and it added all 900 pounds of its weight to my encumbrance.
I'm fairly sure the horse is supposed to carry me, not the other way around.  :)

Ideally when you purchase a mount it's weight should be ignored and it should be then added to the location list so you can allocate items to your mount.  I guessing that it's one of those things go pushed down the list in favor of getting the basics right.

You are right, a horse doesn't add to your weight, so yes, the best solution here is to remove the horses weight from the character item sheet. I guess you are also right that the weight of the horse doesn't need to be there in the first place and I can just put that weight into the description. In the end, setting the weight to zero fixes it.
