I'd be happy to, but that would involve sending a copy to me to sign, them me forwarding it to you. Maybe I could just autograph a paper you can tip in?

Heck, that would work too!  I'll photocopy it for the Green Gryphon Inn HC too :)

BTW, Jaiman was printed on heavyweight paper, which I think was Nicholas' decision. The interior color pops and there is no show-through when there is art on both sides. Let us know how you like it!

Jaiman has made Silver status on RPGNow.com!

Also as a side note, Nicholas has informed me that the heavier paper is the new standard from our printer. Yay!

Still waiting for my copy to get here.   Holiday mail delivery slows down quite a bit. :(

Nicholas in the UK) got his much sooner than I (in the US) did, but I did get mine in time to approve and get a few copies to Dragonmeet. As soon as Nicholas and I both approved, he put it up on RPGNow, so you should be getting it any day.

Wait... you're in the US? I thought you were in the UK!  Heck, I'm sending all of my copies to you for autographs in a big bulk shipment!

Hah hah! No I have only visited the UK a few times. I am living in Charlottesville, VA, home of the University of Virginia, and the birth-place of ICE back in 1980.

Just received an e-mail from RPGNow.  My Jaiman book finally shipped.  Almost 3 weeks before they decided to drop it in the mail.  :'(

Just a note, partially in response to the review: we tried bleeding the art, but it was a hassle in layout, and I personally thought the value was limited considering the extra cost. I deliberately keep the layout 'fluff' graphics to a minimum, because I know a lot of you print out the PDF (though you might consider buying the hardcopy, as the PDF is really only designed for the screen; the text is the same, since it is vector, but the illos and maps are screen-resolution). Anyway, there was one book (Powers, not laid out by me), which had those elaborate graphics on every page, that bled out on the top, bottom, and outside. They just repeated on every page, and I thought they were pointless. They were just glorified page number graphics. It was a trendy thing at the time.

We are planning to update/refresh the page design once RMU is out, but that seems a ways off...

My Jaiman copy finally arrived Tuesday.  It took nearly 3 weeks for them to put it in the mail and 3 days to arrive.

Beautiful book.  Much bigger than Green Gryphon.  I've only glossed over some pages so far.  I've been so busy with work lately but I can't wait to sit down with it.  It looks like the maps are different.  I may need to update what I have for the players, but I'm probably going to explain it as "old, outdated maps from a century ago" vs. newer maps from recent traders and travelers.  I can't wait to see what larger schemes are around vs. the focused setting of Gryphonburg.

The cover art is great and reminds me of the stories and adventures I used to create based on the cover art from the RM2 books.  I can't wait to jump in.

I printed out Powers and SWMA4. Boy, did those use a lot of ink. I've since become a big fan of layered PDFs, where you can stop some layers from printing.

Today my copy of Jaiman arrived and ... well... not sure how to put it: It surpassed my expectations in every single aspect! Volume, detail, reference, color, plot hooks. You name it! I pulled my copies of the new Emer books off the shelf for some comparison and I am inclined to say that to me, this is the best Shadow World book to be released in the new series, period.

I can see that assembling this tome of information (CODEX is more fitting) must have been a long, arduous and painstakingly intense research and writing experience.

Chapeaux, good sir, to a work outstandingly done!
