Sorry if this isn't the best place to post this. I kind of felt like I shouldn't be the one to start an errata thread for your book.

Page 20 "Loremaster Reckoning." Is the g supposed to be a very stylized g?

In that same paragraph it looks like the numbers 9 and 7 ended up as subscript every time they were used Not sure if that is a stylistic choice or not, but in case not I figured better to point it out.

Under the Winter section.
1•8 isn't boldface like the others.

Under Spring
2•18 isn't boldface like the others.

Under Summer 3•8 & 3•35 aren't boldface.

Under Autumn 4•11 Crown Holiday: Anniversary of the gift of the crowns to the original six realms of Rhakhaan. I suspect you meant to say original six realms of Jaiman

Under Fall
5•35 & 5•35-5•37 aren't boldface.

Thanks! I've also created a new topic Haalkitaine errata/corrections

I loved Ardor! It was honestly one of the modules that first drew me to MERP. I loved the idea of playing in Middle Earth of course, but was then blown away by the idea of playing in an area of Middle Earth I never knew about... and then of course I always loved Morgoth too :)

Previews don't seem to be enabled for Haalkitaine. That's not going to bother me, but it might some.

You mean beyond the cover? Yes, but they are just title and credits pages. The back cover image I uploaded tells you more.

Sorry, I was referring to the preview on DriveThruRPG; I should have made it clear. Or, rather, that there isn't a preview on DriveThruRPG beyond the cover.

Oh as if I don't have enough on my plate with Emer IV and Shadow World Adventures, there is talk of doing a revision of the classic Space Master 2nd Edition to update the Empire and (to an extent) the technology. That was a passion of mine... typing madly on a KAYPRO late in the night fueled by coca-colas from the ICE fridge...

As much as I really want to see Emer IV, Spacemaster's setting could really use an update and some regular module releases.

Have all of the modules, and absolutely loved them. Some of the artwork was funny too. One image in, I think it was 'War on a Distant Moon', always made me chuckle. Small guy in an imperial uniform standing next to a savage looking brute loaded down with armor and weapons, and he casually has his hand in a manner that says "Enough of this nonsense, hand over your weapon. Now!"

Those images really helped give the setting it's feel. I suppose the artist has long since moved on, but if possible I wouldn't change the feel of the art.

So, the SpaceMaster setting definitely needs redoing. Then there's Emer IV and Wuulris, the second book in the Loremaster Legacy, revamps of Emer I and II and other assorted things, such as Artefacts & Lost Tech. It seems there is no other alternative.

We're going to have to clone Terry.

Or a LOT more coffee! But for the Artefacts, I'd like to find an author and just edit it? And Legacys, well, I may have to release it in chapters, as much is written but much left to do...

It seems logical that many notions that we know from myth and legend (and which have thus flown into our fantasy literature and gaming) stem from times when all kinds of things were secret and thus seemed magical. Crystal and other "special stone" weapons, copper axes, eventually bronze armor... to a neolithic tribe, these must have seemed quite magical.

I suggesting cloning in the past, but we may need to crowdfund it.

On the subject of spacemaster, I have been re-reading 'Lost Telepaths'. in particualar the adventure 'Heart of the K'taviir' was a fascinating look at the beginnings of the ideas that lie at the core of ShadowWorld. I particularly liked seeing V'glin's name mentioned, and the beginnings of the idea of the ShadowStone.

It's kind of fun seeing what ShadowWorld has grown into, and then looking back at the ideas that formed it's beginning.

It might be interesting to see a history of ShadowWorld's creation published at some point. Not that you need yet one more thing to work on.  ;D

An interesting article on the issue of 'Pay What You Want' in RPGs, that you might find interesting Terry, given your recent experiences:

Expect another SW adventure PDF soon, set in the citadel of Dansart, the High Priest. Now fully fleshed out color and detailed from a rough layout decades ago, it is an expansion of the Haalkitaine book for more advance adventurers. And now it is detailed and has adventures and how to get there into the Zor desert for the bold.

Meanwhile I am working on Emer IV... City of the Dead layouts.

Would GMs be interested in a mini supplement with a bunch of interesting PC backgrounds, either living in Haalkitaine, or finding themselves in the city, with a setting where they might meet up, as a possible starting point for adventures?  Detailed histories with convoluted families, lost items, dark pasts, and they just happen to meet in a tavern/party/brawl...

A more detailed meet-up space would be welcome to me. Background ideas are cool too.
