Cyberware chapter - feedback
« on: June 04, 2007, 06:03:16 PM »

Looks great. I'm looking forward to read it from beginning to end.
Just found one confusing item so far:

p 250 [p 8 of the chapter]

Both Fiber Hair and Nanotattoo mention "Neuralware Implant with the Cyberware Link option"
I can't find any reference to this option under Neuralware or anywhere else.

That reference should no longer exist. I decided at some point that requiring an explicit Cyberware Link option was being unnecessarily mean. If you have a Nanotattoo or a Fiber Hair and a Neuralware Implant, then you can control the tattoo or the hair by the implant.

Thanks for catching it.

best wishes,
Nicholas

Another one on the same page, concerning neuralware:

Quote
Tendrils from the hub then extend throughout the host?s central nervous system (or equivalent and beyond), providing a neural linkage to all other implanted cyberware.

I think the parentheses should be slightly different: "nervous system (or equivalent) and beyond"

But then again it may be my language skill malfunctioning again (d100+20)...

You are correct.
