RMU players: Which Round Countdown Do You Use?

(1/2) > >>

Hurin:
I've always wondered how many groups would choose each option. To be clear, taking actions 1 AP at a time means the character with the highest initiative spends his/her first action point, then the next highest spends his/hers, and so on, till all characters have spent their first AP; then you start at the top of the initiative order again and the highest character spends his/her second point, and so on.

MisterK:
I don't use RMU, but I use something similar to APs and it's 'one at a time'.
I don't use initiative either. At AR1, those who have completed their action (1 AP action) act. Then at AR2, those who have completed their action (2 AP action, or 1 AP  action started at AR1) act. And so on. So if you want to perform a 1 AP, a 2 AP and another 1 AP action, you act on ARs 1, 3 and 4.
If two people act in the same AR, actions are simultaneous.

nash:
I haven't run enough RMU to have an opinion yet.

EltonJ:
I don't have RMU yet, so this is somewhat arcane to me.

Thot:
4 action points at once. It's just so much faster and more convenient.
