They are available for free download on RPGNow. They're on my website as well, but since they're free, let's have everyone get them from RPGNow where the stats might eventually help sales.

You can also download What to Buy First? It's the guide to buying Echoes of Heaven products. The most useful piece of info for you all is the ideal playing order of the adventures and adventure seeds.

FYI, I've written four other adventure seeds. I'll release them as they come in from editing.

To Burn a Witch has "A Knife in the Dark" as its header. I haven't read enough to know if they are connected but I am thinking that is a mistake.

It helps to be a free product.

1a is tied with Lost Kingdom of the Dwarves/On Corrupted Ground OGL version for sales. 1b has exceeded it (I'm guessing due to the header update).

Hopefully these free seeds will generate sales of the actual products. From what I have read they are quality products as usual.

I also think people will come back to the site to check and see if thier is any new seed. Instead of when they expect a new product out.

Yeah, I hope that as well. It take a LOT of downloads to make it onto the best seller list for a free product (rank 20 is a platinum product, and there's no hot seller list for the free products that I've seen). Still, there aren't many new releases on the Free Products, so I expect to be able to keep something on their pretty much all the time, unless there's a surge.

I saw. Glad you did. I had thought of NOT putting them on my site, but decided to do so for just this reason.

RPGNow is finally back up. They should migrate to Drivethru tomorrow when there's someone at the OneBookShelf wheel again.

I like how they are an introduction to some of the secret societies as well. Although the witch-hunters aren't all that secret...

Also, in the intro section to Knife in the Dark brings literal meaning to "Pennies From Heaven".

Thanks. I really credit my legendary first customer with the idea. He expressed a need and I was just trying to fulfill it, but I think it really strengthens the IP. It also gives me opportunities just to describe more people's reactions to things, and that seems to help a lot. The more of that the better, as it gives the setting depth and builds up a body of local attitudes.

I just uploaded a new adventure seed, Felrican Nights, on RPGNow. It's at my store as well, but the RPGNow stats are more important, if you don't mind.

I also see a 'what to buy first' as well. Adding to wish lists. I haven't decided which 0one map to get as that seems to by by fallback for below minimum buys.

And out of curiosity - why 1a, 1b then 2?
And what happened to FRP0001?

The products we're discussing here are free. You don't need to buy anything to check out. RPGNow lets you check out with a $0 cart, just not a $.01 cart. They aren't trying to screw you, they just don't want to lose money on transaction fees.

The number in the Adventure Seed rank is the same as the product they follow. Since there are two Adventure Seeds between 1 and 2, they are 1a and 1b. Because the second interim story between 2 and 3 is the adventure in Guild Adventure #2, there is only one Adventure Seed there. Basically, if you see only one Adventure Seed between two adventures, then I have an mini adventure coming out in another magazine that fills the second slot.

FRP0001 is The Echoes of Heaven Preview. You can buy it seperately on my site, but that's against the rules on RPGNow. You can download it there by clicking Demo from the campaign setting.

Nope, not me - I have no problems with PayPal. I just have to remember to tell my wife about them.

I can get the seed for free but for the story I need to find some other items to tack onto it. I might actually splurge and get a 'real book' instead of a few 0one maps.

Oh! I posted the link to my store in the anouncement. Paypal's cut, even on a product so small, is less than RPGNow's. I don't think a work of fiction will ever do well enough on RPGNow to draw in customers on its own merits, so you can just buy from my store. I don't have a minimum buy.
