Character Law Submittals

(1/3) > >>

Colin-ICE:
To celebrate 30 years of Rolemaster, each month we're giving you the chance to win some great Rolemaster prizes. This month it's character law and all you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is submit a character.

There will be five different categories and in each of them we will be looking for the best, most imaginative and most original character and crowning them the category winner. The category winners will then be considered against each other and an overall Character Law winner will be announced. The Character Law winner will then be considered against the overall winners for Spell Law, Treasure Law and Creature Law and Arms Law (they will also have sub contests) to find an overall “Rolemaster’s 30th anniversary competition winner!”

So here are the Character Law categories:

Character from the realm of Arms (eg Fighter, Warrior Monk, Thief, Rogue, Laborer, Scholar etc)

Character from the realm of Channeling (eg Cleric, Druid, Paladin, Ranger etc)

Character from the realm of Essence (eg Magician, Illusionist, Bard, Dabbler etc)

Character from the realm of Mentalism (eg Mentalist, Lay Healer, Monk, Magent etc)

Character from the Hybrid realms (eg Healer, Sorcerer, Mystic etc)

Start submitting your characters now. We want to see them all. Submit them here.

Old Man:

Hi all.

Figured I'd post a favorite NPC from my campaign of days passed. Notes and caveats - this is her NPC file from 20 years ago - it references a variety of names from published works (Harn, MERP, Cook's Black Company, etc.) - and its **LONG** (lots of gear, history, etc.). Feel free to pelt me w questions.

Regards,
Old Man

The link in http://ironcrown.com/blog/2013/05/03/rolemasters-30th-anniversary-competition-character-law/ is not working. So you might have a bit of trouble directing people to this thread ;)

Old Man:
Hi again folks,

If we are on to Channelling, attached is my submission. Ahmahl, a Dervish, is another long-standing (and suffering :) ) NPC from my Rolemaster campaign. For those interested in what he looks like, my wife and I commissioned a portrait of Ahmahl and his wife, Andrea, from Lance Red.

We think he did a terrific job capturing both characters.

Ciao,
Old Man

Approved.
Good read and I liked the various inclusions of fiction in the story.
