Speaking of GW, will ICE do a miniatures game?
« on: February 08, 2013, 12:56:08 PM »
As the title says, will we see a relaunch of War Law or Bladestorm?

Or a new miniatures game. Terms like OB, DB, AT and so forth sound perfect for a unit profile.

I do not know but I think if there is a good set of rules to work with and the system sells then it will come along.
MDC
Bacon Law: A book so good all PC's need to be recreated.
Rule #0: A GM has the right to change any rule in a book to fit their game.
Role Play not Roll Play.
Use a System to tell the story do not let the system play you.

With the play-test of RMU... I've put my work on a revised War Law (which I'm calling speculatively The Warfare Companion) on hold, until the dust settles... though I've now worked it so that it will gel with RM2, RMSS and MERP. It's meant to be more of a role-playing supplement than a wargame, though with a few rules tweaks the transision should be fairly smooth.

It sounds delicious! I'd love to hear how this is going when you resume work on it.

To answer the question, one of the Aurigas/ICE licensees has the license for Bladestorm, Silent Death and the miniatures end of things - they are on the Metal Express forums http://www.metal-express.net/forum/index.php

GCP is licensed for tabletop rpgs, so War Law revised is in our purview.

Best wishes,
Nicholas
