I think this has been discussed within a few threads, but I don't think there has been a thread devoted to the discussion. I also don't think it has been brought up for a while so I thought maybe the stance has changed. Either way I'm sorry if this is another dead horse beatging...
Have there been any thoughts on a "classic" version of Space Master 2? I've been looking through RMC and have been very impressed with how they cleaned it up. I gotta say I'd be interested to see what they could do with SM2. So how 'bout it? Any future plans for a Space Master Classic? (pun not entirely unintended)

As I have said previously, at THIS point, ICE has no plans to do a Spacemaster Classic.

Be patient, GoblynByte. If you pester ICE about it, they might not do it.

Do you know how long the RMC "concept" was in development before it was announced ?

Is that a rhetorical question? ;)
I honestly wasn't trying to pressure anybody. I was simply curious.

several years until work was begun on actually turning it into a reality (i.e. we would discuss the idea every once in a while).
about a year between first actual work and first product to hit the shelves.

I know this is veering off topic, but what prompted the idea in general? It seemed for a while that ICE considered RM2 long dead and thought RMFRP was the only way to go...

which ICE? The old ICE that went out of business? Or the new (current) ICE, who has been wanting to recapture all those lost RM2 fans since its inception?
-
Probably, hard to discern between the two since it is the same name/brand :P
