I've looked across all of the rulebooks (German version, as far as they're available), and it doesn't seem to be stated anywhere explicitly: What if I want to learn a spell from a different realm? Shouldn't this be possible at a higher cost? It isn't stated anywhere (as far as I have found) that you cannot learn spell lists from magical realms other than your own, but just giving it the same cost as a similarly restricted list from your own realm seems somehow wrong, too.
So, where are the rules for that? And what are they? Is it simply "you can only learn stuff from your own realm"?

In RMSS/FP you can learn spells from other realms, I do not know where exactly the chart is (I have the DP costs in an excel sheet) but I think it is in Spell Law.

In the RMSR, it's in the main list of skill costs by profession. In RMFRP, the core rulebook does not have them but they are on page 118 of RMFRP's Character Law ("Master Spell List DP Cost Table M-2.4"). No idea about the German version though.

AhhH! In the table, but not in the text, that's the secret! Thanks guys!

In RMFRP Character Law, it does get mentioned in the descriptions of the professions, but just as a little note under spell development "For the spell lists not shown see page 118 for DP costs." That might be the only clue to go looking for that table.

There is also a chart in the RMSS Arcane Companion with all of the info.
