Is there a way to delete characters in Era?

They're in a folder. You can delete the xml file with the character's name.

In the ERA character sheet screen they're only listed on Server, not on file. I'm not able to locate them in my pc.

Unless very specific advanced customization steps are taken, you should find all your character files in:
ERA/RMFRP/Characters (or RMC if that's your flavor).
