Burning Heaven H.A.R.P. Play By Post Campaign Needs Players
« on: December 13, 2013, 12:45:04 PM »
Hello,

I haven't been around on the forums in a very long time, but here I am again.  Looks fancy.

Anyway, my Burning Heaven PBP game is down to two players.  It is currently the longest running PBP game on the Real Roleplaying forums.  :)

http://www.realroleplaying.com/rmsmf/index.php?board=378.0

If anyone would like to play in the game please go to the Real Roleplaying forum site and post something in the OOC thread there.  I'll try to check back on this forum too, but I will see a post in the OOC thread there a lot more quickly.

The idea of the setting is that we made it as a group with lots of non-standard races and the setting doesn't have humans either.  It is a young setting, a young world, and most of the cultures and races haven't interacted much with each other.  Your group was pulled together by dreams and visions of a mad god of rivers to fight off things known as the Gulanamea that want to destroy all of reality.  Any new characters would be ones that have finally answered the call that has been plaguing them in their dreams for months.

Let me know if anyone is interested.  Thanks.

What are your posting expectations? I may be interested (as it would be nice to "play" in a game rather than GM) and I've done the play-by-post deal many times before.... Sounds interesting. (Unfortunately I'll have to wait until later tonight to get online and review through your game info.

The game moves pretty slowly so the posting expectations are what you might expect a normal PBP posting rate to be.  That being said, checking in to see what is going on in the game fairly often is a good way to keep up on things.  PBP games tend to fluctuate in speed.  I used to have a website with the relevant racial and setting info but that folded.  I believe that the information is still on the forum though.  I need to check through them.

The title of the setting in English is Burning Heaven, and the reason for that is that the upper levels of the atmosphere are on fire.  There is no sun, moon, or stars in the heavens.  Day and night have more to do with how brightly the flames are burning.  Night has more of a smoky look to it.

Hehe, I guess no one is interested?  ;)

Oh well, it was worth a shot.

I thought about it but already in 5 PBEMs (3 there, 1 Yahoo-based and 1 Facebook). I risk repeating myself or PC concepts ... :)
