Topic: Looking for alternative races

Hi.
I'm wondering if anyone has a collection of alternative races. I play SM2 but I'm sure I can convert SM:P races to my needs.
IIRC there is a set of race creation rules in the SM:P books and in Datanet 3, but I'm in the lazy corner right now, so I figured I'd see what other have

I'd be interested in any race, but in particular I'm after Humanoids, Replicants, Transhumans, and possibly android versions. Race description, background, purpose (for replicants) etc, stat bonuses, special abilities, RR and other material pr race would be good.

  I do have some general out lines but I am keeping them close to the vest for a new game world.

 I really do not know of any good reference books for this thing but I might try and take examples from history and make them from planets instead. I know this is the old stand by but IMO it still works. You can also shift things around so the are not so Earth like.

 I guess Shadow Run or Legend of the Five Rings might be good reference material for your game.

Well, I did up several Traveller races on a thread here.  There's also an article on a setting of my own in the Guild Companion from a few years ago.

I was watching Caprica tonight and thought why not take their 12 planets as alt races and backgrounds?
