I'll take Affinity of Water as an example - the last sentence reads "The character also receives a +5 bonus to the casting rolls of water-based elemental spells."
So, what exactly counts as a "water-based elemental spell"? Any spell that has to do with water, or only spells that create water in some form? Which of the following spells would receive the +5 bonus?
Elemental (water) Aura
Elemental (water) Ball
Elemental (water) Bolt
Elemental (water) Resistance
Ice Wall
Icy Mist Wall
Obscuring Mist
Underwater Movement
Water Corridor
Water Form
Water Wall
Water Breathing
Water Vision
Thanks in advance, as always.
Ones that involve the manipulation of the Element Water for Affinity of Water, so:
Elemental (water) Aura
Elemental (water) Ball
Elemental (water) Bolt
Elemental (water) Resistance
then:
Ice Wall
Icy Mist Wall
(though I'd need to check the Aspects for those two)
Water Corridor
Water Form
Water Wall
(and all of these trio should have the Water Aspects)
not spells like Water Vision, Water Breathing, etc. as they do not involve the manipulation of the Element in the same way or at all.
Best wishes,
Nicholas
