Topic: Effie's rpgGAteway.com gone?

Hi All...

Does anyone know what's happened to Effie Rover, as the rpggateway vote system has died. Many of it's associated sited are now dead links, the forum is down and I can't get a reply from my emails.

It is a fantastic resource for the rpg community and it would be a very sad day if it has now died.

If anyone has any info that could help, please could you let me know.

I just tried the site and it came up fine.

the main site comes up, but the voting no longer works, though it does sometimes appear to work non of the stats go up.

the forum is dead as are all the other sites associated with it such as the herald, hearth and tales.

in short it seems unmaintained

I know that a few people around here used to edit for the site, I was hoping one of them may be able to shed a little light on the subject...?

 I did see that the Copyright was 1996-2006 so maybe you are right and the creators have given it up. They also might be just keeping the base site up and running and not all the do dads to save $.
 Other than that I do not know anything.

I've done what I can to contact effie(loy) inc adding her on linkedin, emailing through her photography site and through the rpggateway site, after that I'm at a loss as well..

She never seemed the sort of person to just give up without saying anything, so hopefully she's having a great holiday somewhere and the site has glitched while she's away.
